Introduction

Every action in the organization or team is a manifestation of power, which is used by both managers and performers. Power manifests itself through the channels of power, which include the power of coercion, influence, expertise, information, official conduct, credibility, authority to award. As I am the project manager of a team of online Spanish translators and I have never met the members of my team, in person. Therefore, we communicate through Skype, emails and text messages.

To guide and lead my project team, it is important to maintain a good relationship with them; when an individual affects the behavior of group members without the use of coercive forms of power, it is a manifestation of transformative leadership. The project attach great importance to the leadership of the need to select and nominate individuals for leadership positions, most suitable for management functions. The nature of leadership in relation to built relationships with the team members according to business ethics; manifests itself as personal qualities of humans and the environment in which the activities of the company.

Discussion

I came to know that the performance of each team member is good as they are capable of working efficiently, submitting quality work and communicating well. However, they only perform according to their abilities when the deadlines are very close. Therefore, this aspect can create a problem in the long run.

Through the use of leadership, I as a project manager can influence individuals or groups of individuals to achieve their goals. Leadership is a critical factor in the management of the project. This form of leadership is a historically established social need of people in the organization of collaborative activities.
