Organizational-Level Change

Change initiatives at organizational level focuses on huge stuff which includes the vision, the mission, the culture and the strategic plan. However, while bringing a change in the organization we need to focus on one of the most important thing that is organizational structure. For example, moving a box on the organizational chart will bring a sudden increase in customer satisfaction, reduce the cycling time and will help in driving up the morale of the employees.

Educational Organization should start using some new strategies and innovative approaches to bring change in large and small-scale systems on their campuses. Appreciative Inquiry is an overview and a procedure for facilitating a positive change in human systems which include relationships, classrooms, groups, departments and organizations. (Solmon, 2006) Educational organizations can use the procedure of strategic planning, team building, visioning, leadership and development. They can also implement the strategy of evaluation and assessment, shifting from a teaching to a learning orientation and formation of a virtual agenda to bring change in human systems. Change in organizational culture is vital for management and administrative processes within an organization to identify and recognize cultural patterns that are characteristic of the social group. This happens because these are the determining factors which may or may not achieve through the management process. (Stronge, 2006)

Change Initiative- Merit Pay system Implementation

Most of the people have an opinion that teachers' salaries should be increased. But what actually they don't realize and agree on who should receive the raise and how much should be the amount of the pay rise. The school should propose a design for deserving teachers to receive bonus per year. This is required to be implemented in order to define the system more appropriately. This new system is going to initiate proper criteria for assessment and evaluation. Performance based pay rise will lead to an increase in the attainment of the outcomes. This system will analyze the integration of students' achievement and teacher's compensation from several grounds. It will examine the psychological structure underpinning various pay to performance pay, regarding the professional teachers, his sense of efficacy and the interaction between teacher and student. (Solmon, 2006)
