ABSTRACT

Change in an organisation could be initiated through various approaches such as, planned change, emergent change, individual, group or organisational change and depth of change. However, while discussing leadership styles, researchers should also consider change process and types of change management models in order to best determine the most suitable type of leadership for the change process, including the level of employee satisfaction from the perceived change. Organisations are operating in an environment considered as hyper competition, in today's era. There is a significant impact of environmental factors that influence the way organisations are performing their tasks today. Organisational change management is also a systematic process of shifting of teams, individuals and organisations from the present state to the desired future state. The methodological approach is provided in detail in the third chapter. The third chapter also includes the description of instruments. The fourth chapter provides analysis and findings that are gathered via survey questionnaire and MLQ 5X tool. The fifth chapter concludes the dissertation while providing limitations, implications and recommendations for future research.
