1.1 Person Centred Practice
Person centred practice focuses on the participation of performers in the decision making and is most appropriate in various situations. Person centred practice is about collaborative and respectful partnership between the service provider and the service user. The concept in health and social care goes to know the service user as a person and sharing the power of responsibility between the service provider and service users (Department of Health, 2002, www.doh.gov.uk/learningdisabilities).
