Research Question

Is there is an association of stereotype threat with the intellectual test performance of African Americans?

Variables

The variables that are included in the study was:

Diagnostic condition based on racial stereotype

Non-diagnostic condition based on racial stereotype

Hypothesis

Ho: There is an association of stereotype threat with the intellectual test performance of African Americans.

Results and Findings

The results of the study presented that mere salience of the stereotype could affect the performance level of Black people; at the certain level that is when the test was not diagnosed with aptitude. The function of stereotype exposure in the standardized performance of test of ability stigmatized groups is important and necessary (Steele & Aronson, 1995).

What are the factors of discrimination in Korea?

religion,

sex.

Hypothesis

Ho: Age, nationality, race, religion, sex are the discriminating factors in Korea?

Aim of study

Discrimination is an act that some people are treated differently or certain rights without unduly based on unfounded grounds. In most countries democracy are laws against discrimination and equal treatment is generally guaranteed by the Constitution. On the other hand phenomena of discrimination exist even in the absence of pro-discrimination laws, and against legislative efforts to combat the phenomenon (Lee & Min, 2005). The most common phenomena of discrimination are: discrimination based on age, the fortune, the political beliefs of nationality, of race, of sex, of religion.

Results and Findings

The study revealed that definition of discrimination is an attack on human rights.
