Juvenile Delinquency in My Community

In my community, I have observed that there are a lot of young girls and males on probation and on parole as well. I had no idea that so many young people are faced with this trouble until UI started my internship as a juvenile probation officer. Throughout my internship tenure, I oversaw that so many children are facing problems at home and school yet, I believe that some of these problems can be avoided since there are lot of different programs for the young people to help them get out of this situation. I think that primary coaching starts from home and it's the responsibility of parents to provide proper counseling to their children so that they don't indulge in such activities.

Crime is a universal phenomenon linked to social life and no society without crime. There are four factors that play an important role in such crimes.

Social Factors: lack of school and family environment, misuse of leisure time, aggressiveness developed by the mass media, the population density in large urban centers, insufficient socio-cultural teams, etc.

Economic Factors: inadequate living standards, unemployment, lack of professional qualification.

Political Factors: crisis, lack of civic sense, etc.

Individual Factors: difficult to categorize.
