The father of science fiction visionary French novelist, story and play writer; this is the essence of man we know today as Jules Verne. In his writings he anticipated the bulk of scientific instruments and a number of events that were more than a century ahead of his time. Some of the inventions he imagined were created later in his life, but some of them not yet invented. He has written over 80 books mostly before 1900, and a few things that he described were helicopters, modern weapons, and video with sound, television and missiles(Frank, 2329-2333). He was also the author of 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, which was written in 1800 - years before the first sub-category was invented. Jules Verne was an amazing writer, who predicted the future of science in the world. He was popular with all types of readers: rich, poor, young and old, scholars, artists and rulers.
