Introduction

The Japan Airline Flight 123 crash occurred in the year 1985. It is the single aircraft disaster in which the number of fatalities that occurred is highest. This crash resulted in the death of five hundred and twenty people who were on board a Boeing 747. This Japan Airline flight 123 suffered an explosive decompression which resulted in the destruction of its vertical stabilizer and damaged very severely, the hydraulic lines because of which, the aircraft became uncontrollable.
