Introduction

C&A Quality Services is a successful business in Virginia that provides janitorial services to more than 12 businesses located in Springfield. These businesses range from a commercial cranes business to a bank branch. The company provides all janitorial services to these businesses which include complete services throughout the year.

Janitorial work at Vulcan Materials Co.

The Vulcan Materials Co. has two locations where the janitorial work will be performed. These will comprise the provision of very low cost, high-quality janitorial services. The services provided will include:

1.Emptying of all trash cans and replacement of all trash liners in every office, including the bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

2.All of the hard floors will be swept and mopped including the pantries, break areas, and bathrooms. All of the carpeted floors will be vacuumed.

3.All door knobs, telephones, water fountains, and microwave ovens will be cleansed and disinfected.

4.All offices, conference rooms, and common areas will be dusted including picture frames, desks, chairs, computers, whereas all spider webs will also be removed.

5.All window seals, blinds, and floorboards will be cleaned.

6.All bathrooms will be cleansed and disinfected including toilets, sinks, doors, and floors.

7.All paper products will be replenished including towels, sanitary paper, and seat covers.

8.The stairs will be swept and mopped.

In addition, every week the hard floors, which are tiled, will be buffed, and the carpet and the floor will be spot-cleaned for any stains.

Other activities will be performed every six (6) months. These include shampooing of the entire carpet and all tile floors will be strip-waxed and buffed.

The total bid cost is $30,348 per year.
