In this research we try to discover the insight of “Jamaica” in a holistic perspective. The key heart of the study is on “Jamaica” and its relation with “culture and customs”. The research also examines various characteristics of “Jamaican culture” and tries to measure its effect. Lastly the research illustrates a variety of factors which are responsible for “Culture” and tries to describe the overall effect of it.

Introduction
Jamaica is an island with more than two and a half million inhabitants who are mostly black and mixed descent of the place. That's why we saved a lot of attention and dedication to folk tales, music and religious beliefs, linked closely with their African ancestors. It is common to stumble cults on the island; there are over a hundred in all Jamaica.
In terms of family organization, customs are a bit eccentric, families can be divided into matrilineal, where women raise their children at her mother customary union contracts that dispenses or sanctions of any religion, union man and woman is a provisional commitment. Generally those who marry legally are more affluent people and those given the prestigious ceremony.
They believe in spirits or so-called "duppies" and they employ to protect all kinds of strategies, one of them is to use the Bible and crucifix to protect the babies sleep. It is claimed to be Christian but Rastafarian beliefs are very much alive. Rastafarians Haile Selassie I recognize as the second Christ. Another character who is revered as a prophet in the island is the singer Bob Marley, the reggae music icon.

Geography
Jamaica is one of the Greater Antilles, the third of the Caribbean Sea in the Gulf of Mexico . It lies halfway between Cuba and the Spanish.
Very mountainous, the island is covered with lush vegetation tropical. From east to west the island is crossed by a vast mountain range that occupies two thirds of the territory. To the east rises the Blue Mountain (2,256 meters), the highest in the country. Jamaica has a wide variety of landscapes from high mountain valleys, waterfalls, plains and idyllic beaches and bays. Among the rivers, is navigable only part of the Black course. This diversity makes it home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Caribbean and provides it with a rich and varied flora and fauna, tropical.
Jamaica is a very poor country that lives mainly from tourism , attracted by its history , beautiful scenery and character of its people.
Culture
The word Jamaica is almost unconsciously associated with the music and the Rastafarian reggae. However, many do not know that Rastafarianism is a religion, a mixture of African and biblical beliefs, founded in the twenties by Marcus Garvey (Douglas, 1959).
Rastafarians are still waiting for him who, after the Armageddon or the final battle between good and evil, they returned to the land of promise.
