The purpose of this report is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by exploring some relevant facts related to the analysis of information system in a health care organization. In this report, we have provided pertinent information in regard to social media and smart device technology usages, and how to restructure work practices to accommodate the increasing deployment of free agent rather than traditional employment personnel.
Information Security in Healthcare
Introduction
The term Information security refers to the protection of information as well as the information systems from unlawful access, leak, distraction, variation, examination, assessment, copy or damage. This helps to avoid the re-entering of information that was obtained before. In past this information was used to be write on paper and it was saved in large filing cabinets. But in this current situation, with revolution brought by the technological advancements, the new concept of saving the information of patient in an electronic system has implemented. With the help of electronic record system, data can be saved and secured for long duration. Any health care organization that is supposed to store data and information of a sensitive nature should implement information security principles to ensure the security measures of that information.
In order to review the existing health information security measures and create innovative measures a health care organization needs to recognize new risks that can be occurred in electronic health information. These emerging information security measures necessarily need the utilization of specific technology including access of information on laptops. Moreover, they have to the principles according to which this practice is certified in order to observe and analyze electronic health information. In this report, the author will adopt the role of a Business Support Consultant. The Organization's Board of Directors has concerns for how best to ensure the security of business information as traditional business practices adjust due to changing employment arrangements and the adoption of social media and smart device technologies.

Experts in the world, appear optimistic about the adaptation of information system by health organizations, especially the fact of how they will assimilate change accompanying new technologies. On one hand, reengineering, resistance to change, the quality of the content of the Internet, the accessibility of health services and changes in the doctor-patient relationship remains the axes around which the debate revolves regarding the future of information technology applied to health in developed countries. On the other hand, the challenge of the Information Systems, is to respond to the need to manage different levels of health information including personal health records with access to medical information and medical history, virtual bases disease data with practical information and clinical trials, basic global health knowledge in regional, national or international population data, epidemiological and related environmental factors, health indicators and efficiency measures, for taking decisions in real time.
