Characteristics Which Influence the Learning of a Group of Learners
Today is alarming and disturbing for the parents, the school for the development of their children is why it is that educational psychology looms large because there are certain factors that are decisive in the formation and therefore, in the process learning of children. Undoubtedly, these factors are directly related to the role played by parents and educators. Educational psychology investigates what are the springs that drive the development and behavior and gets to know players who have participated or involved, beneficial or harmful in the development of potential (Cole, 2006, pp. 636-686).
According to psychologist every child has differences that must be taken into account. The parents usually have certain expectations of their children, but it must be remembered that the skills and abilities are different. Therefore, one must take into account the following factors:
Heredity: Refers to when the child has a congenital problem that prevents you from developing their capacities to the fullest.
Environment: Refers to the place and the elements that surround the child. For example, a child in the country would have difficulty facing the technology as opposed to one that has access to it. However, this does not mean one is smarter than the other, but each will develop better skills as certain habits and practices that have.
Parenting practices: This is very important as regards the type of education received by children and parents how they prioritize their studies. It is important to promote reading and other habits that are the child for a strong future.
Birth Order: Believe it or not, this becomes very important factor because parents tend to be more demanding with their first child. While not an easy task and we educate learners when it comes to parenting, care must be taken to the expectations held for each child. That is, sometimes a lot is expected of them, but not the other (Collins, 2006, pp. 47-60).
Children of divorced parents; When parents or one of them fails to overcome the divorce is often the case that the child ends up paying the broken dishes. Accusations such as you're just like your father or mother as appropriate, or you are just like him, among others may sound familiar.
Mothers who work all day: Today is also common for mothers to work. However, what matters is the quality of time that is given and worry about the activities they have while parents work.
