It gives me great pleasure to apply to one of the oldest and outstanding divinity schools within the state. However, before I mention about my achievements (both academic and personal) as well as discuss my goals in life, I'd like to introduce myself.
My name is Jennifer K. Jules-Best residing in Hampton Virginia and I hold a masters degree in social work from the Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia and a bachelors in arts with social work and a minor in sociology from the Christopher Newport University. Moreover, I have also completed a course work of 50 credit hours in Business Management from the Interboro Institute College in New York.
I have always been a staunch believer of helping others and doing something good and worthwhile for humanity. Having studied in such a diverse multi cultural environment, I have learnt over time that one of the fundamental and the most important thing in life that is required off a person is to lead and guide others. However, this can only be done if we ourselves have a strong sense of clarity in our own beliefs and visions and only then can we influence others to complete the mission of serving Christ. Thus in such a scenario it becomes even more imperative that we are clear about our goals and our dedication as Jesus did from birth to the cross; there was never any doubt that he was sent by the Father whom he loved and revered. Jesus modeled and lived in the Word and the mission, it was long term not a phase or a momentary diversion.
