ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to understand the concept of Cloud computing in detail and how does it contribute to the data management, which lead Indian IT industry towards success, due to time and scope constraints, this research will be based on few IT organizations which are currently adopting the cloud computing technology for data management in India. The objective of this research is analysis of current applications of cloud computing in an Indian IT industry, to understand the importance of concept of cloud computing for data management and to identify challenges and limitations of implementing cloud computing as a technology. In order to address the research problem and answer the research questions indicated in Chapter 1, a mixed method approach is used for this study. The aim is to explore participants' views regarding cloud computing. Data gathered used in developing a questionnaire to explain the implication of cloud computing. A different sample from the identified population (Indian IT industry) received the questionnaire. This research was performed via an online survey of decision-making managers either located in India or who have a relationship with one or more organizations in the India. Further the scope of this study enhance and we can include other geographical areas and other factors influencing cloud computing adoption in other regions or in other countries.
