The world has evolved from Stone Age to the global world, and all thanks go to technological innovations. The infinite desires of a human being are the main motivational factors in this regard. However, technological innovation has changed the way people spend their life completely. Though, the topic is very vague and cannot be summarize in few words, but this study would focus on how technology has change different aspects of America. This study would mainly focus on how computers and Internet had a change the life style of people of America.

How the development of the Personal computer and its successive technologies impacted American culture?

Since the beginning of this world, human beings are trying to invent things that can make their life easy. Personal computer is also the result of such efforts, which was initially invented to assist people in computing which later incorporates thing like word processing and documentation and after the introduction of Internet the personal computer evolved into basic amenity of the life. Before the development of personal computer and its successive technologies, people of American do most of their work manually, like for calculation people rely more on manual methods of calculation than mere typing few keys to get results. Not only calculation was performed manually, but for communicating with customers business had to rely on mail, which makes a business transaction a time consuming effort (Campbell-Kelly, Aspray, 1996).
