Introduction

The human resource management (HRM) is a set of practices of management aimed at mobilizing and developing human resources for greater performance of the organization. This activity should aim to improve cross-communication, while upholding the organization of the company. Human resource management is an organizational function, focused on mobilizing and developing human resources for performance and accomplishment of organizational objectives. It helps an organization to anticipate and assemble changing needs related to the acquisition, deployment, and utilization of human resource. The management of human resources is finally co-head of production and quality management. The process of human resource management encompasses all active members of the company that include general management and control tasks, employees with the negotiation of contract and staff representatives.

Human Resource is the most important and integral part of every organization. The way a HR department runs, deeply affects the whole organization. A hefty part of an organization's growth depends on the Human Resource department as they are responsible for recruiting the people who are suitable for the job. An organization needs talented and skilled people to drive their company towards success, and for that, the organization needs a capable and talented HR team. If a company has a flexible, highly skilled and strong management and workforce then it will surely be successful.

The HRM of the organization manages the workforce in the following ways:

Recruitment and Selection

Companies need efficient employees, which will unburden the former employees and increase productivity. The HRM hires quality human resource. They properly evaluate each person's job and education background, their suitability for the job post. After selecting the appropriate individuals, they properly evaluate each candidate as per the job requirements.

For this, the HRM develops certain job related tests for every department and the suitable candidate first has to conduct the test of the department s/he has applied for. The test scores will indicate whether the person is suitable or not (Munz 2001, 49). After passing the job related tests, the candidates are commonly asked to come for the interview. From this interview, the overall personality and professionalism is evaluated. After evaluating the tests and interviews, the candidates who have scored the highest are hired.

HRM Activities also includes the observation of the performance of each employee and find out capabilities of the employees and utilize them wherever need and the requirement. Human resources are managed to divert and utilize their resources towards and for the accomplishment of organizational objectives. It is a very important step in the quest for efficiency and performance in any organization since the consequences of poor recruitment are enormous and can be probably fatal to the company (Najafbeygi 2007, 34). When an employee is at work, his/her abilities should be fully utilized in order to increased productivity.
