Introduction

Human Computer Interaction or HCI, includes the research on the computer and human and the study of their way of interaction. The human interaction, which can be called as “users” and the “computer” takes place at the user interface that denotes the way human output and input information.

Societal Impact of HCI

The impact of EBay on the society in a way that people are able to shop online without any difficulty and with simple and easy ways without going out of their home or workplaces to locate a shopping spot to buy items. It's provided people a chance for business marketing and selling the products online. It allows its users to do communication with each another for business/transaction as well. It brings people from around the world to buy products and it has become a forum or venue for them to have communication and swap cultural diversities (Yacoub, 2002: 19).

Though, as vast as EBay is and by all the enormous characteristics regarding the creation of marketplace for buyers and sellers, a lot of buyers and sellers use EBay as a place of deceit and fraud to people who are easy to fool, a current instance of this took place on the April 7th, 2010, when 70 cyber crooks were arrested by the Romanian police, who were considered to be affiliates of the groups which allegedly use negotiated EBay accounts for scam running. They just got credentials of login through phishing scams earlier than use of the profiles to advertise sale for luxury goods which are not available to sale (Rolex watches, recreational aircrafts, and even luxury cars).

Economical Impacts of HCI

Speed up inputs: The design of speed reader m70 is prepare to decrease queue time in the shop. This scanning is done through barcodes on products much faster and with very much accuracy. As the speed reader hasn't any part that can be moved thus it's very less possible to smash down. This will affect the economy since this technology will allow more and more people to go for shopping as it reduces the queue time and people will not be waiting in the queue for long hours as they suffered previously. Another affect is the very high or faster throughput (Vince, 2004: 69).

Decrease inputs complexity: Decrease in the complication is a key aim in the design of any technology. For instance with car technology it have to be simple and easy to use so that the customer can use it at the same time with driving. Reduction in complexity in inputs will affect the people as a number of people might choose not to purchase something as they believe it would be very complex so designing the technology with simple and easy characteristics would raise the quantity that are sold.

Better automatic judgment / automation of outputs: with enhanced automation indicates that the business will not need to occupy as many workforces that means the organization ...
