Introduction

Cloning, or human somatic nuclear transfer, is the process that allows an organism to give birth to an organism with the same genetic makeup as the organism that donated the DNA. Cloning is not as hard to do as you might think. If you cut off a leaf of a plant and grow a new one from it, you've cloned the plant.
