Introduction

The HR system performs automated theory formation. Given background information about a domain, HR invents concepts, calculates examples, makes hypotheses and seeks explanations of the hypotheses. HR is a machine learning program which can be applied to the tasks of concept identification, prediction, scientific discovery and puzzle generation. The applications have so far been to discovery tasks in mathematics. It provides information on just about anything the company needs to track and analyze about employees, former employees, and applicants. The reason of this project is to evaluate and describe the importance of HR system in any company's progress (Fleetwood, 2009).

HR system analysis

The HR department plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of an enterprise - most importantly by tracking and analysing the timekeeping and work patterns of the workforce, allowing management better information on which to form strategies (Fleetwood, 2009).

Information gathering techniques

Many businesses use various techniques and methods to improve their processes. To properly determine what solutions are needed to improve those business processes, the current process needs to be analyzed to determine its weaknesses. This process of system analysis is essential to the success of the project. In this paper we will go over the process of system analysis and apply it to a workplace project that redesigned a business process. Also we will review the success of the project by analyzing it with concepts from Business Process Re-engineering (Fleetwood ,2008).

Today's businesses are faced with a market that forces them into rethinking what processes they use to do business (Fleetwood ,2008).

To determine what's wrong in their process they look at system analysts to tell them what's wrong and how to fix them. Usually they will use various methods of information gathering and design techniques to evaluate the current process and from that determine the weakness and propose a solution. But, let's see example a work related project and see what information gathering technique was used to evaluate the business process and then determine if the solution taken is a success by analyzing and evaluating it using concepts from Business Process Re-engineering (BPR).

Understand HR business processes and proactively develop and assist HR in the implementation of business process and/or technology solutions. Focus on existing systems and web technology to improving process efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer service.

Provide project management support for business process redesign or technical projects instituted by HR departments.. Deliverables for each project will be expected to contain the following: The statement of work, Customer expectations of HRIS roles and responsibilities, End dates, Key mile-stones, Commitment of specific resources from the customer and HR, Business Requirements including customer review and signoff, Functional Specifications including customer review and signoff, Project plans to include a full development cycle, from requirements gathering, development/programming, testing, integration and customer acceptance and signoff.
