The article basically revolves around the significance of the function of human resource management. Article is started by stating that every organizations needs to maintain three resources extremely well if they need to achieve long term success and these resources are humans, finances and materials. Moreover, the author has suggested that managing human resources remain the most difficult part of the organizational functions. The basic reason which makes the management of human resources difficult is that every human is unique and depicts different characteristics (EBI, 2007).
The article continues with stating that educational administrators possess a most important function of human resource management as well. For instance, universities need to excel in managing its human resources for the purpose of achieving its educational goals and objectives like any other normal organization. The article places more importance on the Registrar of the University since he is the person assumed to be the chief of administration. Moreover, the article suggests that the basic purpose of human resource management remains to manage the personnel available within the organizations (EBI, 2007).

There is only a little discussion of human resource management function from the viewpoint of education administration. The article intended to discuss the human resource management of a university; however, I believe the article was not successful in achieving its purpose.
