Abstract

It is a well documented fact that the reason many major projects fail to come in on time and on budget or fail completely is due to ineffective project management, therefore in order to ensure a project is 100% successful it must be carried out to a project plan that captures all the essential elements required to ensure successful project completion. Today, the project manager must act as a reducer of uncertainty by ensuring a suitable control at all times. It's a constant current business projects. Mechanistic approaches based on the forecast and the absolute dominance of planning no longer appropriate to this new context. The Project Manager must have a combination of skills including the ability to ask probing questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve interpersonal conflicts along with the ability to consistently apply the principles of administration (management). In the jargon of project management, "risk" means a condition or an uncertain event has a cause and, when it occurs, has a positive or negative effect on project objectives and a cost impact, timing or quality of the project. The qualities required by effective project managers, we must remember a couple of points: it is people that are critical to achieving the objective of the project and it is the project manager that provides the leadership to the project team to achieve the goal. The methods described in this paper for project manager should provide a good understanding of how to manage projects successfully.

If the project success was only dependent on the choice of method and tools used; the question of project management would be resolved long ago. The project's success, not one that is limited to a signed receipt with the usual caveats, but the real one that is seen when expected profitability is to go, depends on other parameters. With this in mind, this is a true entrepreneurial approach should be adopted to achieve project management. The failures are unfortunately not exclusively related to gaps in rules. With ever shorter, limited budgets, continuous innovation, use of technology too young or the approximation of multidisciplinary expertise from different backgrounds, current projects are of a different complexity and meet very few streamlining procedures in the extreme.
