Background of the Study
Greyhound racing is referred to a competitive racing of greyhound dogs, in an organised way around a track. The greyhound dogs are required to chase an artificial rabbit or hare on the racing track till the dogs reach the finish line of the track. The efforts to address these concerns and enhance the effectiveness of this industry are considered as a debatable topic in many countries. This study will look into the effects of the body of racing greyhound on its lap time.
Purpose of the Study
The major purpose of the study is to explore how the body of racing greyhound affects its lap time. Additionally, the study will also explore other concerns that affect the efficiency of greyhound racing. Moreover, the results of the study will help in finding ways to address the concerns regarding the well-being of dogs, and improve the effectiveness of greyhound racing industry.

The study would be significant in order to understand the concerns that affect greyhound's racing, which will help in enhancing the effectiveness of greyhound racing industry. Prior research mainly suggests the impact of track conditions on the lap time of racing greyhounds (Gillete and Zebas, 1991, pp. 15-28).
