How Prevalent Materialism in Our Society Has Cahnged Us?
Introduction
The American dream? To some, that phrase goal to achieve, creative individuals to determine their success. For others, it lies in the middle of respect for our freedoms as citizens of the "free world". For me it's a way to determine your height in a materialistic society. We are all captivated by their wealth and defining our appearance to meet the social standards of contemporary culture. Nobody can truly define what the American dream or what it is. We can believe we are talking about freedom, family values, and goals is possible only in America but, in my opinion, this theory is only superficial.
Discussion
At first glance, the Americans want to believe the American dream of prosperity in a country that was founded on freedom. At heart, the goals that we tend to look revolve around monetary value. When we think about the goal, we think of elements such as: high-paying job, big house, expensive cars, and even win the lottery. Do we really care about the freedoms we already have? Answer: no. We want to make a "good life" where we are able to define ourselves, our wealth and status. Freedom rooted in the past, the old notion that society is politically determined.
Have you ever sat down and thought about how much you value your possessions? Do you value your possessions more than you value friends, family, love, or yourself? I have put much thought into materialism, and perhaps others should too.

This means that we look at the property, to bring us happiness. We then use these properties to make things and people behave or react as we wish. We have become so successful in the manufacture and manipulation of the world that we have come to believe that a change in our environment is a way to solve all our problems. We go through life, watching, that inner well-being depends on what we have or do. In connection with these assumptions, the materialism now has the status of the people, religion, profession, and the pedigrees used for transport (Twitchell 1999). We identify ourselves and others what we wear, what we have, and what brands we have sports. Our unbridled consumption rises unlimited number of products and goods available.
U.S. is by far the most materialistic society that has ever existed. America is materialistic people with me from time one to some extent. I really like the clothes with the brand, to modern technological devices, and more. People in America are consumed with the presence of materialistic things. It is hard to go a week without seeing any of my friends who have not purchased a new cell phone, Abercrombie & Fitch polo, or that it can be. In other countries, ...
