Abstract
The Post Study Work Visa has been one of the one of the clearly defined routes for the students have been studying in the universities of Britain. Restricting post-study work opportunities is intended to ensure that larger numbers of students coming to the UK leave on completion of their studies whilst decreasing the numbers who arrive, thereby contributing to an intended reduction in net immigration. This study is undertaken in order to understand the experience of West African student in Britain and to understand the status and these students in Britain. Further, this study will find the policies of UK government and the effectives and the advantages that have been taken by the West African students from the post study work visa. Further this study is undertaken in order evaluate and measure the experiences, aspirations and opportunities that are being provided to West African student through the post study work visa. Further this study will also provide the legal frame work of the British Government and the laws, Act that has been implement by the British government in order to improve the Visa Policy and t implement it effectively. The conclusions are drawn from the questionnaire survey. Therefore this study will be based on mix method research.
