It is a fact that the research has demonstrated negative effects of disease and multi-morbidity on HRQOL of elderly and vulnerable patient population. These studies have identified a number of conditions associated with significant decreases in HRQOL elderly, including arthritis, heart failure, stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), urinary incontinence and mental health.
