Henry Hudson, English navigator, not the exciting journey to find the all-water route to the East, but was rewarded for his efforts with a number of known North American geographic features named in his honor.

Little is known about the early life stages of Hudson, but he apparently got enough experience of navigation employ large field of marine transportation.
