Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to enlighten and explore the healthcare system of the United States and the approaches adapted by the government of the United States to improve the healthcare provision in the country. In addition, the paper also focuses on the current issues and concerns faced by the healthcare system of the United States; moreover, the paper also describes the approaches of US healthcare system to lead it towards prosperity. The second objective of the paper is to enlighten the healthcare system of another country which is selected to be Spain and compare its healthcare system with the healthcare system of the United States. The paper compares the healthcare system of United States with Spain along with the strategies constructed by each country to witness the concept of evidence based care.

The purpose of this paper is to enlighten and explore the healthcare systems of United States and Spain. The objective of this paper is to elaborate the findings about the healthcare system of United States and compare it with the healthcare system of Spain. U.S. health care system offer independent services at three main levels, family medicine, hospital care and public health. Medical services in the U.S. are private individuals and legal entities. There are several approaches of healthcare improvement that have been witnessed in these two countries. Nonetheless, there is diversity in the approaches and strategies adapted by these two countries for improving their healthcare industry and ensuring the evidence based care concept. Various commercial, charitable and government organizations offer patients both outpatient and inpatient services. About 47% of all U.S. health care costs are the costs of hospital care, about 2% - home care, 10% - medication and 10% - for the maintenance of nursing homes. The remaining 11% cover services of dentists, ophthalmologists and other specialists.

American healthcare is one of the most costly healthcare sectors that provide healthcare services to the citizens of United States. Nevertheless, this paper explores and compares healthcare qualities of United States with Spain healthcare quality. This paper also discusses the cost of the healthcare services provided in United States of America and how they can be made affordable to individuals of the society along with the cost of healthcare in Spain. Finally, this paper enlightens and compared the consumer choice of the healthcare delivery services in the United States and compares it with consumer's choice of healthcare services in Spain.
