Introduction
The purpose of paper is to enlighten and explore the sociological and economic impact of the healthcare. This paper aims to explore diversified dimensions concerned with the economic and social context of the healthcare industry. The paper will focus on the different healthcare programs initiated by the United States in order to improve the social provision of the healthcare. This significantly affects the analysis to evaluate the sociological impact on the healthcare. Nevertheless, the study will consider the economic factors that are significantly influenced by the healthcare industry. The analysis will cater the expenditure in healthcare, the cost of the health and the availability of the healthcare in order to measure its impact on the economic condition of the country.
In the United States, however, those who are covered with the public system constitute 25% of population, which costs more than 4% of GDP. Medicaid costs over $ 200 billion for the poor. Medicaid consists of fifty systems, one for each state. When the insurance is provided by the employer, it is part of the employee's wage. This system has become extremely costly for businesses. Those who are not covered at all are approximately 16%. This faction consists of people, who are neither too poor nor rich, and therefore, cannot benefit from Medicaid and private insurance subsequently. In case of any health problem, they must pay the costs directly. This can prove to be extremely costly.
However, the necessity of safe guarding health and social care rights of individuals will also be discussed. We all know the significance of a social care or a health care worker in delivering reasonable health and social care services.
