Introduction

Health Needs Assessment, or HNA, is a systemised tool enabling health practioners to review the health issues within or for a specific population. Caregivers carry out HNA to have consensus over resource allocation, thereby contributing to better health outcomes, and lesser health inequalities. The equality and diversity in health and social workers shows that treating everyone equally, regardless of skin color, age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, etc. is an essential element of healthcare. People have different needs, so the need to reflect individuality. In addition, personal health and social work value of diversity and equality, and more favorable treatment to certain groups of people over those who are prejudiced against the change of power and rights. In this report, I carry out the health needs assessment for hepatitis, a fatal infectious disease most common among afro-americans. The health needs assessment will determine ways in which health care providers will develop ways in which they can best deal with hepatitis. The report provides an indepth analysis about the prevalent hepatitis management, its epidemology and prevalance, and key guidelines for treatment and follow-up.

Analysis

Throughout the UK, the operational management and delivery of clinical governance, while in essence the same, approached differently in each country. Since devolution, and the formation of the Scottish Parliament and the Welsh Assembly Government, the culture and delivery of health care with the strategic management of the quality agenda has changed profoundly, signaling a divergence in approach to clinical governance and monitoring of health policy and practice in relation to governance procedures. This has resulted in each country placing different emphases on the various elements of clinical governance in order to reflect local and regional health needs. This divergence has created, in many ways, a perplexing picture for practitioners (Clouston, Westcott, 2005, pp. 12-17).

The Ministry of Health cannot succeed, in order to improve health care and welfare for all by building an explicit commitment to equality, diversity and human rights in the health system and social assistance. All public institutions such as the Ministry of Health and public sector providers and commissioners of health and social care services have a duty to promote equality. The success of these rights is a fundamental aspect of health and the goal of welfare services that provide quality care for all.

Given the diversity of the population must be recognized in policy, recognizing the different experiences, desires and needs of staff, patients and services through the provision of services and patient care.
