In this research paper, the researcher aims to determine the concept of Health Care Marketing. It is an important social concern; therefore, this paper will highlight the significance of health care marketing for a hospital. The chosen hospital lies in the southern United States, “Grady Memorial Hospital”. It is considered to be a premier public hospital. Furthermore, the paper will focuses on marketing mix as well as the relationship of organization with other partners. Finally, I will touch that why right target market segmentation is essential for the success of marketing plan.

Introduction

In the state, of Georgia, Grady Memorial Hospital or simply Grady is the largest hospital. In Atlanta, it is the public hospital. It opened in 1892 for Atlantans. Now Grady is famous for its trauma and emergency services. Its ownership is government based and caters huge proportion of low-income patients. Grady Memorial Hospital ranks at 121 out of 128 total hospitals in Georgia which are accredited. It offers a wide range of emergency services, which are accessible 24/7.

Grady memorial hospital provides a large range of services which are accessible 24/7. It is known for its emergency services such as asthma, burn, sickle cell and stroke care. Almost 60 plus services are in-line for older adults, teen health services and 100 other subspecialty services. So there is no issue to what the medical problem exists in patients. The trained staff of the hospital is always ready when patient need them. Primary Care Centre located in hospital and other six Primary Care Centers located around Fulton and DeKalb Counties also offers a wide range of health care services.

Today, Grady Health System encourages patients of all ages and stages, facing health care problem from high risk and emergency cases through chronic conditions and staying well.

Place

Grady is located near the campus of Georgia State University which is the premier public hospitals in the southern United States. It is the largest hospital in the state of Georgia. Within one hundred miles of Atlanta, Grady is the only level one trauma center, which is accessible 24/7. So it is the ideal place for medication for the citizens living in Atlanta and the other communities. Undeserved counties like Fulton and DeKalb, Grady has a strong dedication; therefore, it offers an extensive range of health related services to all community segments' regardless of any discrimination.

All issues or complaints that affect patient care and satisfaction are solved with dignity, respect and compassion. Since Grady name is perceived equal lent to the community benefit, health care needs of Georgia communities are served through various charitable ways. Patients who do not speak English, as well as who are heard impaired, translation services are also provided to facilitate them at all levels.
