Introduction

Assessing the strengths and those that should improve in a given community is an important first step planning a service project effectively. By devoting time to inform on the problems of the community, the club may discover new opportunities for service initiatives undertaken and avoid unnecessary issues to be addressed. Assessing the community is a very important and valuable strategy that one can use to get a clear and transparent picture of one's community. This thing will assist a person in categorizing the problems of the community and highlight them in a proper way. This thing will also function as the initial point for the development of communal vision and strategies that can help in encouraging change, in a community. The tool of community assessment helps a person to collect information from a number of different souls and groups within the community; i.e. different types of information will depend on the focus of partnership's and resources that a person can use to collect information. In this report, I will discuss my findings in the process of community assessment of Indianapolis community (Brown 2001).

Connecticut and Vicinity State Boundary Polygon include State for Connecticut and nearby portions of Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island. Hartford city is the state capital of Connecticut. Hartford is the capital city of Connecticut and has a lot to show for itself insofar as the visitor is concerned. It is the second most populous city on the Connecticut River after Springfield, Massachusetts. The city itself is almost 400 years old and has quite an illustrious history, for a good period of time following the Civil War it was the nation's richest city.

It has been observed that with the increasing population in Connecticut, buildings are rising over time. It is because there are many people that coming to this place and authorities are making appropriate changes in the infrastructure to provide shelter to everyone in Connecticut. For this purpose, a building of worth $160 million, containing 36 stories, has been made, which is considered to be the loftiest apartment tower. The buildings are located along the Connecticut River that provides a refreshing experience to its surroundings. The city has made progress in terms of buildings, places, restaurants, and similar places that provide an amazing experience to visitors. The urbanization of this area, which occurred between the mid-1950s to mid-1970s, has impacted the growth patterns in the community significantly.
