Hammurabi's Code

Three of the most well known writings from very old civilizations are the writings of Confucius, Hammurabi's cipher of laws, and Egypt's publication of the Dead. At first, they seem very distinct, they're from distinct times, districts, and beliefs, but they all offer a peek into what standards very old people considered important.

All of the punishments for the crimes are very stiff, but fair. I feel that it is equitable that "If he has broken the limb of a patrician, his limb will be broken" It's like in the Bible "An eye for an eye, and a tooth ...
