This paper will be discussing six softwares and will be analyzing them with their pros and cons. At the end of this paper I will be presenting the recommendation report that will be submitted to the chief executive. The software recommended must be compatibility supporting firm's materials requirements planning (MRP), capacity requirement planning (CRP), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) needs.

Pros and Cons come with any company and are associated with every day in life. As a part of the management team for PPQ Parts manufacturing company it is my job to select the best software packages for our firm based on our material requirements planning (MRP), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and capacity requirement planning (CRP).

Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing, this is the meaning of SAP. SAP is an Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that is brings together different applications (Jeffrey & Mike, 2002). Each application may accommodate a different business type area but it still makes sure that the real time information is exchanged. SAP is complex and is a more complicated (ERP) system because it requires someone who is proficient with the knowledge to program it for its intended.
Pros
SAP is the functional integrated software system that is on the market today.
The performance of SAP is mainly for accounting as well, for warehousing and materials management as well solid and assessed for production to be very patchy.
R/3 was the first integrated software system, the front-end applications running under Microsoft Windows (1992). This secured the company a good start into the world of the - then new - client-server architecture.
Cons
SAP R/3 is an outdated technology. The system architecture consists of clients with a powerful central server capabilities (data management and application logic), but the concept dates back to the eighties. Of more advanced database features (such as distributed data management) makes SAP R / 3 does not use.
