Characteristics of Global Leader versus Effective Innovator:

Global Leader:

A global leader shows curiosity. He listens to people who are outside the circle of "Yes, sir." It is very important to understand that arrogance exist when an individual refuses to listen. This attitude of an individual could be considered as he just do not care or thinks that he knows everything.

A global leader is creative and executes those things that no one would imagine something really, different (Hesselbein, 1999, pp. 52).

A global leader should always be willing to face any sort of difficult situations and circumstances to face the reality, and make the best possible decision.

A leader is an individual who knows to differentiate between virtue and vice, and motivate people to do the right practices.

Courage should be the cornerstone of a global leader's personality. Presumption is not courage. Loud talking is not courage. A leader who is committed to stay calm and negotiate is considered to have courage.

A global leader must have a sense of conviction and passion within him. He must be committed to complete his targets successfully.

A leader must have the quality to attract people to become his followers. This ability of a leader to make people his followers is referred to as charisma. A leader should be honest and sincere so that people could trust him and start following him.

Effective Innovator:

They live in discomfort: The innovative person is constantly moving into the unknown. Exploration attracts him, seeking to devise and exploit new concepts and opportunities naturally handles uncertainty in knowing that opportunities are generated uncertainty (Murray, 2008, pp. 13).
