Gangs and Kids in the Community

Introduction

The term gang has its origin in the United States in the early twentieth century, starting from 1910 onwards. Social crimes, mafia and the rise of gangsters all come within the umbrella of crimes. The issue of growing gangs and crimes in the national security of the Central American countries is a problem of longstanding and growing concern, because they have been emerging new generation throughout the country (Miller 2005). The main problem that the Native Americans face is the high incidence of crime followed by drug trafficking, the proliferation of violent Kids gangs, legitimating capital and domestic violence. Within United States, these gangs vary from all age groups.

Discussion

Crimes could include bribery, sexual abuse, killing, unethical and illegal use of substances etc. People engaging into these activities have nothing to do with culture. A teenager could be of any culture irrespective of the fact that his ancestors or parents have staunch belief with respect to religion. Such crimes arise in great demand due to factors such as people moving widely in tribes in different regions of the country. However, diverse the culture of Native Americans, have strong beliefs and values, and they focus on harmony. Every family residing within the United States does not appreciate this but, each in their own ways is focusing towards how to eradicate this issue. Like for example, there are agencies within the United States that are dealing with anti trafficking (Mendoza 2005). Many agencies are created to reduce the usage and trade of drug and many families irrespective of their culture are helping such agencies. Studies show that many households have placed complains over the children residing in their communities who are engaging in illegal activities. It can be easily said no household, culture, religion would ever support the emergence, growth or existence of crime and crime gangs. Hence usually families disown such black sheep in their family, or place complains. It has been observed that there are very few families who support their children who are engaging in such activities.

No religion in general encourages engaging in crimes of any sort. Such is the case with Christianity, as well. Religion for Native American is the way they live their life. Hence their essence deals with harmony, balance, as well as discouraging and Eradicating the growth of such crimes from the start. This is because later as observed through history such crimes become a threat for the country (Lopez et.al 2004). Since childhood if children are brought up with strong beliefs and values, if they are in their initial face given the right guidance, then such issues are not likely to grow. The main problem that the Native Americans face is the high incidence of crime followed by drug trafficking, the proliferation of violent Kids gangs, legitimating capital and domestic violence. Within United States, these gangs vary from all age groups.
