Children grasp new thing in an easy way, as their young minds are sharp and active.

“The mass media and the Internet have extended daily contact with other communities and languages for large population groups worldwide. This situation has generated a growing social demand, at all levels, foreign language teaching” (Patten & Lee 1990, pp. 44).

There is new awareness of learning English as second language and its spread to communities who considered themselves often wrongly, monolingual.

3. Growing demand of professionals with skills in foreign languages

“While other competitive factors at work, as a good first degree and social capital within the profession, are typically acquired in higher education, language skills take longer to get your domain and are a tool that parents can provide their children from childhood” (Nikolov 2009, pp. 128).

Individuals and parents, who make decisions for their children, are looking for the motivators par excellence, especially professionals with skills in foreign languages.

The paper discusses the need and importance of learning English as second language from Kindergarten.

Introduction

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in teaching and learning of foreign languages. “Learning a foreign language can occur in institutional settings, for instance, school, kindergarten, or language school, etc. it can also take place in, informal settings: home, through social contact with speakers of other languages, etc” (Winne 2006, pp. 230).

Discussion

Studies made from a theoretical point of view that, examines different aspects of language learning, both maternal and additional. The social demand for this provision has increased significantly in recent years. “This demand arises from the perceived importance of languages and the idea that, young children have greater ease than their elders to learn”.
