Introduction

First offender is an individual convicted of an infringement of regulation for the first time. Unlike the Crime Control Perspective, the Rehabilitation Perspective focuses the vigilance on the first offender and not the victims (Morris 2000). Supporters of this viewpoint accept as factual that humanity is the cause first offenders consign misdeeds for example exposure to racism, scarcity, alienation, poor learning, poor wellbeing care, and little to no municipal service (Morris 2000). Because humanity put them in positions for example these recorded it becomes society's blame to help them with their communal problems. They accept as factual that the first offender should be educated through therapy services and programs that address cognitive conceiving disorders, chemical dependency, mental wellbeing, and other programs to educate new abilities and how to become a creative constituent of society.

 

Discussion

The rehabilitation viewpoint would address household aggression by recognise the first offenders risk to re-offend through perhaps a comprehensive risk analysis (Morris 2000). Once the risk components are recognised they could be punished to such remedy programs as Domestic Violence Treatment, Anger Management, or Chemical Dependency.

The Due Process Perspective examines at the Criminal Justice Process to confirm that the first offenders are being treated equitably and equitably. This viewpoint focuses on the legal privileges of the suspect double-checking that they are granted impartial hearings, sensible sanctions, lawful counsel, and equitable treatment (Morris 2000). Supporters accept as factual that legal values of fairness and due method should be supported even if it means that on event a patently at fault individual is free. This is a considerably distinct outlook then Crime Control as supporters of Crime Control would accept as factual that the at fault is at fault despite if an mistake had been made by regulation enforcement or the courts.
