In this paper, it will be discussed, the poem “Fire and Ice”. Throughout this poem, the author is talking about two potentially destructive and powerful forces in the world, fire and ice. It contains paradoxes and seeming contradictions. Both of these are two entirely opposite elements. I think that the symbol of fire in Frost's poem is representing desire, and passion. Meanwhile, the symbol of ice is used to show hate and destruction.
