Women have always been deprived off from their economic, social and political rights. Feminism is the term used for the movement against the protection of women rights. It stresses that men, and women are equal and they must be treated equally. They must have equal rights and must be treated on par with men. It is based on the difference in treatment between men and women. Women have fought against their property, contract and voting rights. They have also raised their voices against domestic violence and sexual harassment.
