The current scenario of education in UK can be seen in numerous perspectives, and amongst those perspective is the current debate of the increased tuition fees and its implications. Numerous researches and authenticated resources have raised the issue and brought forward the point that the tuition fees had risen up to as high as £ 9000 a year, from the current year. This increased tuition fees have brought along with it numerous perspectives of the advantages and disadvantages it entails. Therefore, the primary rationales that have been revealed in this matter, resides in the context of the curse of recession that has consumed almost all the domains and arenas of the nation, as well as, the endeavour of the government from shifting the burden from the state to the public (students). The major benefit lies in the fact that by increasing the fees, the revenues and profits are being amplified, and hence entailing positive aspects for the economy in the long run. Other benefits entail that this better economy will render better job opportunities, once these students will graduate. However, the disadvantages of the increased fees weigh more than the advantages. At the outset, it clearly denies the students that do not possess the substantial resources, from the rights of acquiring higher education, and hence not furnishing a better life for themselves in the future.
