Application to MA Fashion Management

Every person has a passion in life. Since I was 12 years old, my passion has been to become a fashion designer and I used to dream about becoming a fashion designer. I started designing clothes for my dolls. My family and friends appreciated my talent but, they did not know that I was serious about it. They only realized this when I decided to go to college to study fashion designing. For this, I enrolled at Fashion Design with Knitwear at Central Saint Martin's London.

I come from Hong Kong and I am currently studying Fashion Design with Knitwear at Central Saint Martin's London. It is a very fast paced and similar to Hong Kong. I love the atmosphere as it is vibrant. Living in London is splendiferous because of the different cultural mixture, and not to forget all the celebrated art galleries, exhibition and markets that are in the heart of London. Moreover, many illustrious fashion designers are also based in London, as well.

I want to study Fashion Management as I always wanted to learn and know more about the business side of Fashion. After my first year of college, I could not wait to get my first internship. I started looking for work and got accepted at the biggest knitwear manufacturing company. During last summer, I worked as a designer in one of the biggest knitwear manufacturing companies in China, but the head office is based in Hong Kong. I worked closely with the production team and financial department. I was working there in order to precede the designs in the highest standard, along with minimizing the costs at the same time, in terms of materials used, labor consuming and other expenses.
