Introduction

Twentieth-century existentialist Albert Camus (1913-1960) was a French philosopher of the Algerian man of letters and a winner of Noble Prize. He was raised in a poor family background in a French colony and had been known for his literary and theatrical work in his young age. He was involved in a Communist party and apparently became a journalist (O'Brien, 1958).

Jean-Paul Sartre was born in Paris in the year 1905. He was interested in the philosophy and contributed to the philosophical work in Paris. He had been a professor of philosophy and conducted various researches by assisting researchers in Germany (Webber, 2009).

Discussion

Albert Camus has a highly developed sense of coherence within the meaning of salutogenesis. This means that the basic resource for the result of the health of the coherence sense, that is, in the confidence the advantages predictability of the world, the handling of available resources and the sense constancy of life. The sense of coherence describes a general cognitive and motivate affective attitude of an individual to the world and own life. The absurd thing is combined with Albert Camus' literary work in the modern era. He had his knowledge from which rootless condition of modern man to the effect formulated that the life that will inevitably defined by death, in which there is no God give more to accept and cope alone. Existentialism emphasizes the idea of freedom and fundamental for understanding of what we can be. Freedom is a human condition that allows him to go in search of his own being, but inevitably failed attempt and that drives him to take its existence in a manner different from other beings. Moreover, the condition possibility for the development of a moral, existentialist reveals the drama of human life to show it in all its precariousness and contingency (O'Brien, 1958).

A previous idea Camus adds that, whatever we do, our existence and reality always meaningless, absurd remain. Now But the fact that we are absurd beings does not imply the idea of pessimism or resignation. Although Camus repeatedly denied belonging to existentialist movement, is clear its influence on his thinking, as well as the coincidence of their philosophical discourse with that. This philosophical movement had its moment of glory in last century, although in some intellectual circles has spurned, still it is considered as an important concept in the sense of revealing the precariousness of human nature.

Many of Camus claims are valid and in force, especially in the historical moment in which we find ourselves. Our age is marked by the crises of all kinds.
