Introduction

Family is the single most important influence in a child's life. From their first moments of life, children depend on parents and family to protect them and provide for their needs. Parents and family form a child's first relationships. They are a child's first teachers and act as role models in how to act and how to experience the world around them. By nurturing and teaching children during their early years, families play an important role in making sure children are ready to learn when they enter school. Children thrive when parents are able to actively promote their positive growth and development (Anderson, 2006, pp. 25). Every parent knows that it's sometimes difficult to do this important work without help, support, and additional resources.

For humans, the care and protection of parents is necessary until the age of adulthood, at which point it is understood that the person and may use and take care of itself (in terms of age, adulthood varies from country but is usually set at about 16 to 18 years).

But one of the most important factors of the family, especially the human is the ability to communicate with other beings, a phenomenon that will allow one to then adapt to the society they live in other individuals. It is estimated that the newborn usually tends to take a while to understand that the mother is a being other than himself and that's where plays a fundamental role the father, separating but also allowing the baby slowly understand that is part of something bigger than himself.

Family, parents especially, we learn to be more responsible, more independent. Some people are faster than others, but it is acquired sooner or later, thanks to the family. It is the parents who guide children in their experiments, but also in learning through their mistakes. It is also thanks to the family environment that we start from a very early age to be aware of our gestures, our words and our ...
