When is express warranty considered to be different from a mere salesman's puffery of a product such as a used car?

The words used by sellers to describe their goods to induce buyers to purchase them can car the seller in court if the goods fail to measure up and the language is deemed to create an express warranty. Not all representations, although, create an enforceable articulate warranty.
