Abstract
In this study we try to explore the concept of altruism in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on altruism and its relation with the development of society and wellbeing in a specific area. The research also analyzes many aspects of altruistic love and tries to gauge its effect on how the dynamics of a society change. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for altruism to occur in the society and tries to describe the overall effect of altruism on societal development.

Background of the study
Altruism is a concept rooting from the area of social sciences, defined and regarded as an act of kind gesture of being concerned about others. People belonging to cultures & religions, particularly Islam, Christianity and Buddhism, have been seen and witnessed to deliver the concept and teachings of altruism to its believers and followers.
Research Aim & Objectives
The basic research aim is to explore the neurological and religious aspects of altruistic love in the context of building a social equity & wellbeing in Canada. The objectives include:
Exploring limitations of democracy in Canada;
Analyzing findings in neuroscience & religious studies towards altruism;
Analyzing dopamine levels in human & the resulting chemical reaction, leading to narcissistic behaviors and patterns.
Research Questions
What are the limitations of Canadian social structure in building social equity and wellbeing?
Can the secretion of dopamine and oxytocin increase human capacity to practice altruistic love and deeply connect with to others?
Can the secretion of dopamine and oxytocin be naturally induced by the practice of altruistic love?

Problem Statement
The problem statement for this research study undertaken is “exploring the neurological and religious aspects of altruistic love in the context of building a social equity and well-being in Canada”.
