Introduction
The Consultation and Educational Department at the Greenbay Community Mental Health center is facing difficulty to generate funds there will be a reduction in their fund due to lack of information regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of program. To continue getting funds, The Consultation and Educational department directors have to gather data and submit it to Boards of Directors. The Consultation and Education department is responsible for holding preventing programs at the factory and conduct work shop for employers to recognize their troubles. To gain enough evidence that the program is worth and efficient, process evolution and outcome evaluation measure, should be made into practice.
The process evaluation refers activities and involvement of assessing agencies to verify whether programs are operating in accordance with expectations and plan (Rossi, Lipsey, Freeman, 2004). It also determines the implementation of designs and procedure. The evaluation process monitors the progress and corrects the mistakes. On the other side, outcome evaluation determines whether the process going into the right path. It monitors that intermediate and short term objectives are accomplishing according to plan and policy. The evaluation is there to achieve the ultimate goal.
The Greenby Community Mental Health center has to decide the evaluation program that is most necessary and helpful. The Process measure that is suggested to Consultation and Education Department is cost benefit analysis. The Greenby Community Mental Health Center is facing the problem of funds; it is the unique situation for them. Cost and benefit analysis would be the most prior technique to use.
