Erotic Asphyxiation is the intentional cutting off of oxygen and blood to the brain to become sexually aroused. According to Johnstone & Huws (1997), erotic asphyxiation is also referred to as “Breath Control Play, Autoerotic Asphyxia, or Hypoxyphilia” (Johnstone & Huws, 1997).
