In this book, the author has analyzed that by focusing on equality, the country could achieve higher level of health care level and a better position in the education. The author wants to emphasize the fact that it enhances social welfare of the people. We will discuss this fact in this paper.

Equality in terms of health services is very important for society. If a country wants to develop and prosper, it is important that it treats everyone equally and provide good health services to them. Each individual is important to the society with different talents and they must not be discriminated on the basis of cast or religion. When people in the society are healthier, they could contribute significantly to the society in a productive way that will yield good results in long run.

Studies of inequality in education have highlighted its different meanings. One can talk about equal opportunities when all students have formally and legally have the same educational opportunities. When these opportunities are accessible to all students, exceeding forms of covert selection and access, the term that can be used to describe such distribution of educational opportunities is that of equal access. A higher level of equality in the education system can be provided by guaranteed equal access and by providing a similar educational program to all students. Equality of results is found similar performance between students from different social classes, cultures and sexes. If social differences influence greater or lesser extent in the educational progress of students it is expected to find differences between them due to their social origin. Only the levelling of social differences, a task that is not directly responsible for the education system, or the development of intervention strategies to prevent the incidence of social inequalities in education, will achieve a deeper egalitarian goal.

But, there is no strict correspondence between social inequalities and inequalities in education. Other factors such as family, the functioning of the education system and the school that can increase or decrease these inequities are also very significant factors.

Family resources, their education, work habits, orientation and academic support, cultural activities take place, the books are read, the stimulation to explore and discuss ideas and events and expectations about the level of studies that can reach children, ...
