Introduction

Colby (1991) has examined the various dimensions of environmental management in his famous research work i.e. “paradigms of environmental management”. The dimensions allocated to five different paradigms of environmental management; each paradigm examined on the basis of political, social, ethical, technological and methodological dimensions. Following discussion would be based on the contrasting facts, views and opinions referring to the dimension of two paradigms i.e. Environmental Protection and Resource management.
