Before it filed bankruptcy under Chapter 11, it used to sell gas and electricity and normal energy provided, and other products such as Internet connection bandwidth, and risk management and financial services to clients around the world.

The Culture at Enron

This culture led to socialization being rare and mentoring being nonexistent. There was unethical corner-cutting, there was no teamwork, and there was too much competition. New entrants into the company were given too much authority and they could make huge deals without higher approval.
